The Stars
Reading my old posts, I realized I neglected to say I moved to Cordes Lakes, near Mayer, AZ. Which is why it's been so windy. Hasn't settled down yet this year yet.
Well, another breezy day. Soon I'm hoping for a calm day so the night sky will have good seeing...
Well, since the last entry, I have been divorced and moved to Mayer, AZ. I've been in my house for a little over two years now.
Yes! A very dark sky, but windy almost half the year. Wind makes for bad seeing....When stars 'twinkle', you might as well leave the telescope in the house.
The wind is worst in the winter which is the best time to look. When Orion is high in the sky,
there are oodles of stuff to oogle.

Have an ETX70EC and a LX90. The LX90 is a new acquisition. So far, I have
not be able to get to a dark location, only my front yard. It is not quite as
bad here as in town.
